Wise consumers avoid BIAS by talking to as many people as they can about the product they are about to use or have been using, or services they are about to avail or have been availing. These wise consumers then make decisions based on these TESTIMONIALS rather than from the ads, since these testimonials have a bigger chance of telling the truth than the ads. Before www.CebuWiseConsumer.com was launched, these wise consumers only have very few sources of testimonials to base their decisions upon. Now, that www.CebuWiseConsumer.com is here, wise consumers now have the “world” to talk to! In the past, when wise consumers are about to buy products or avail of services, or even plan to shift to other products or other services maybe due to dissatisfaction or boredom or in search for variety, they look for information from the television ads, the radio ads, newspaper ads, billboards and posters or flaglets, product “promos” and of course, from the labels of the products. Unfortunately, all these advertisements, product labeling and a myriad marketing strategies are from the producers of the products or from the providers of the services themselves. This means that as a consumer, we may not get the information that we really need to make wise decisions because the information may be BIASED!
